For over 130 years A. Cavalli & CO. has been at the forefront of Italian culture in America by acting as
a cultural and literary center to San Francisco's North Beach community.

Today, the café is still
the place
where local Italians and European tourists
meet to
share conversation
over an espresso or
cappuccino -
one of the only places
one can go for a true,
Italian café experience
in San Francisco.

Just as a bar in Rome, the aroma of fresh,
imported coffee
from Italy fills the air.
The sounds of spoken Italian
can be heard
over the music of
Andrea Bocelli and other
Italian artists, old photos of San Francico's Little Italy adorn the walls and
usually a soccer game plays out on TV
in the background.

Cavalli Café serves only the classic Italian desserts such as Panna Cotta, Tiramisù and Sicilian-style cannoli -
all made using local, organic ingredients and prepared fresh daily.
